A New Way to Give
Pairing Fandom with Charity
WinGive began with a simple idea in the fall of 2018. How many sports fans are there? Who are they? How do they give? Is there a way to combine their passion for sports and create a new philanthropic experience? Can this experience be harnessed to help non-profits raise funds and find a better way to engage with their supporters?
From these questions, WinGive was born! WinGive is an app-based fundraising platform created for sports fans who share a philanthropic spirit and wish to pledge money and raise awareness for the non-profit community.
Participating in this new and exciting platform is quite simple! Create an account, design your personal fan page and then connect with friends, family, coworkers, and rivals to start your WinGive campaign!
It is estimated that $150 billion is illegally wagered on sports in the United States every year. WinGive was developed with the idea of redirecting some of those dollars towards charitable endeavors and creating a unique connection between sports enthusiasts and giving.
People are often confused about how to give.
The WinGive platform brings sports fans together and gives them a way to combine their excitement for the game with the causes they care most about. WinGive makes this process easier, personal, and more importantly makes it fun! How do you set up a WinGive?
Campaign
1. Login to the WinGive App
2. Tap on the Start a WinGive Campaign button
3. Choose the game for the Campaign to be based on
4. Choose your preferred charity/non-profit
5. Name the Campaign.
6. Press on the circle share button to share with friends, on social media, or copy the link to share anywhere online.
Peer to Peer
1. Login to the WinGive App
2. Tap on WinGive next to any game.
3. Choose Peer-to-Peer, your team, your charity, the person you are challenging, and your pledge amount.
4. Click confirm and enter payment details (if not previously entered).
5. Check back after the game to see if your charity & team won!
Individual
1. Login to the WinGive App
2. Tap on WinGive next to any game.
3. Choose an Individual, your team, your charity, and your pledge amount.
4. Click confirm and enter payment details (if not previously entered).
5. Check back after the game to see if your charity & team won!
